Miksi Arkkitehdas? Why Arkkitehdas? (and what does it mean in English?)

Koska me olemme helsingissä, meillä on suomalainen nimi. Jos katsomme sanakirjasta tai google kääntäja löydämme että -

As we are based in Helsinki we have (of course) a Finnish name.  If we look in an English-Finnish dictionary or Google Translate we find that -

1. • arkki - sheet (of paper), Ark
   

2. • tehdas - factory, mill, plant
   

mutta myös katso

but also look

1. • arkkitehtuuri - architecture  >  arkkiteh(das)
   

So out of this ‘paper factory’ comes the beginning of architecture. Sounds about right...

Let’s hope it won’t just be paper architecture. Maybe you can help with that?
